ALIGARH, July 26: Dr. Sheelu Shafiq Siddiqi, Assistant Professor, Endocrinology, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University after successfully completing the course of DM Endocrinology and passing the written examination and viva voce of the highest order in the country, will be resuming his duties in the J. N. Medical College from August 1, 2011.

Dr. Siddiqi appeared in the All India Examination of DM Endocrinology in July 2008 at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, secured 2nd position in the merit list among the three selected candidates out of more than 150 sponsored candidates appeared in the written examination from State Government Medical College /Medical Institute/Military Hospital etc. all over the country.

During the counseling in the BHU, Varanasi, Institute of Medical Sciences he was offered three super-specialties to choose one. He opted Endocrinology for super-specialization. During the tenure of three years course he won highest awards for his outstanding papers presented by him in the Conferences of Endocrinology throughout the country.
